We're the 1st official GORUCK Ruck Club in the Santa Clarita Valley and our aim is building a strong community of active, like-minded people through rucking and other fitness related events.
WHAT IS GORUCK?
GORUCK is a USA company that designs rugged backpacks, apparel, footwear, and equipment while also organizing endurance and fitness events centered on rucking. It has U.S. Special Forces roots with former Green Beret Jason McCarthy and his wife and former CIA Officer Emily McCarthy as its founders.
WHAT IS RUCKING?
Rucking is just walking with weight on your back. It's that simple. Walking with a weighted rucksack (aka backpack) or vest is an amazing way to build muscle, burn calories, and is easier on your knees than running.
